They are not looking for a summary of the films plot we have to use some criteria from the six categories: photography miss en scene movement editing sound and acting. We have to BOLD or underline characteristics of the film based on materials from the course (the vocabulary list will be provided so you can work some of the terminologies into the paper) such as specific editing techniques or styles types of shots etc. The characteristics must support why the film belongs on my list. I have to CLEARLY explain in detail why each film belongs in such a lofty position of top ten. The breakdown of grading will be: 40 points for annotation 15 points for Display (Ill be taking the paper and creating a scrapbook with pages for the 10 films so you dont need to worry about that) Presentation 5 points for a total possible 60 points. I need the best grade possible because I need to pass this class in order to graduate and could really use a homerun but dont have time to pull this together. The top ten list is suppose to be focused so I suspect there needs to be a common thread throughout all films that will tie them together I suspect probably through mise en scene as they are all animated and digitally created. Again I have a vocabulary list of words that need to be worked when possible.
